TASTING NOTE:
The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon (97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot) is solid, with good purity in its cassis and leafy herb aromas and flavors. Brought up in 54% new French oak, it's nicely textured, medium to full-bodied, has some background vanilla oak, and a good finish. It's a total charmer and a delicious wine to drink over the coming 7-8 years.

There’s a rich and ripe array of spiced berries and plums on the nose with a palate that has ample fleshy fruit and a sleek, silky tannin texture on offer. Drink in the next five years.

WINEMAKER'S NOTE:
Aromas of dark berry and cigar box lead into a full bodied, textured wine with flavors of black cherry, cassis and cedar. Long and lasting finish of dark chocolate and forest floor.
