WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Handpicked, sorted, and cold-soaked from the most prized rows in the third block of their Estate, the lush fruit profile is driven from clone 337 and rootstalk 101-14. This wine offers dark, concentrated depth and character. They suggest opening the bottle an hour prior to consumption such that the aromatics and expression opens and evolves. Having crafted merely 5 barrels, this wine is limited in production and sells out well before the next vintage is released. This wine is aged 28 months in New French Oak. This wine will drink well for 15+ years.
TASTING NOTES:
This big, bold wine tastes of blackberry pie dusted in clove and nutmeg, giving it a lush and plush feel. Thick and densely structured, it offers elongated tannins and a memorable, spicy finish.
