TASTING NOTES:
A hint of fresh beeswax precedes creamy limestone on the nose of this wine. The concentrated palate seems like a buffered blanket of creaminess, edged with limestone, a whisper of flinty reduction and ripe lemon for an interplay of rigor and softness. It's smooth on the long finish.

The 2018 Meursault Les Charmes 1er Cru, matured in 35% new oak, has a pleasant bouquet with subtle aromas of praline and walnut. The well-balanced palate offers orange zest and apricot on the entry. A pretty rather than a cerebral wine, with satisfying delineation and length on the finish. It actually improves with aeration and ends up a very commendable Charmes.
