WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Caymus Vineyards was established in 1971 and produced their first vintage was 1972 which consisted of a meager 240 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon. Despite being world famous for their iconic "Special Selections" and Napa Cabernets, Caymus remains a family-owned and -operated business to this day. Robert Parker is a fan, as he writes in Wine Advocate: "Few wineries in the world can boast such an enviable record of consistent excellence as that of Caymus.
