WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
The 2018 Volker Eisele Family Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep garnet color in the glass. Ample aromas of blueberry, ripe cherry, and a hint of graphite perfumes the nose. The mouth shows creamy, broad tannins with integrated fine grain French oak, supporting flavors of cherry, black mission fig, deeply roasted coffee, and the sweet char of French oak.
TASTING NOTES:
Black pepper and road-tar aromas lead to potent, super ripe blackberries and good, grippy tannins in this full-bodied, generous and concentrated wine made from organic grapes. It combines power with grace as the mid palate and finish lighten up and bring out mint, cloves and cedar nuances. Best from 2028–2038.
