WINEMAKER NOTES:
We are pleased to introduce this Madelyn Rose with a new and exciting composition. This 2021 Madelyn Rose has a different makeup from past vintages. Our delicious Mendocino Syrah was pulled for replant last year. But, we were able to secure new fruit from the cooler Mendocino region, Sangiovese. With the addition of Grenache, Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gewürztraminer, this Rosé blend lends itself to elevated aromas and balance. I am extremely pleased to say that I have triumphed in the creation of our Madelyn Rose to be perfectly consistent to those I have made past. The fresh aromas come forth generously of red raspberry, strawberry and hints of pomegranate. Delicate, almost creamy aromas give a wonderful depth and broadness to the nose. The succulent mix of red fruits in the aromas that lead your senses and taste buds to those same red fruit flavors. Crisp and bright with delicate raspberry and strawberry flavors carry the wine seamlessly throughout. Refreshing with a lingering silky finish. A beautifully colored, refreshing Rosé wine, meant to be enjoyed in all casual settings. This is hands down a great summer wine for your picnics, BBQ’s or just entertaining and relaxing by your pool with friends and family. This wine pairs well with foods that have a mild spicy glow to them. If you like Rosé, then you’ll love our Madelyn Rosé.
