TASTING NOTES:
The certified-organic 2018 Chateauneuf du Pape is less concentrated than the clenched 2017, but all the better for it, with a more relaxed feel that lets red berries flavors flow across the medium to full-bodied palate. Silky and elegant, there’s still plenty of richness and structure, even a hint of cocoa on the other wise vibrant finish. It should drink well for a decade."

Vivid ruby. Spice-accented cherry, blackberry and candied lavender scents pick up licorice and smoky mineral notes with air. Gently chewy, densely packed black and blue fruit liqueur and spice cake flavors are joined by a succulent herb nuance that builds on the back half. Dusty, even tannins add shape and grip to along, floral accented finish that echoes the dark berry note.
