WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
The Cheval Brun Grand Cru is a fruit forward delight! The color is a dark garnet, with aromas of blackberry, cherry, leather, and tobacco. The palate is bursting with ripe cherry flavors layered with smoke, tea, and leather. The palate is moderate with smooth tannins, good acidity, and a strong finish. This wine, while drinking great now, will age for over a decade from now.
TASTING NOTES:
A smooth, rich wine with fine tannins and polished wood aging flavors, this is a dense wine. Dry tannins emerge from the core to fill and strengthen the wine. Black cherries and a still-young structure promise aging. Drink from 2025.
