WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
This is a tantalizing and lively Riesling that is clean, fresh and fragrant. Grown on limestone soils, this is a Kabinett in name and on the nose, where you can detect notes of orange blossoms and peaches. To be sure,it smells sweet. But once you drink it you might notice notes of kaffir lime and kumquat dancing on the palate. It actually drinks and finishes quite dry, due to good acidity. Enjoy this chilled with grilled chicken, salads, or spicy Thai food or sushi. This small family estate is located in the town of Oppenheim (Nierstein area) in the Rheinhessen wine-growing region in Germany.
