WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Our Merlot based blend is inspired by its Bordeaux namesake and our vines' proximity to the Napa riverside.
Opaque Ruby in color, with a nose bursting with red fruit hints at the concentrated flavors to come. Initial notes of black cherry, ripe plums, and black tea, with hints of spicy oak and vanilla on the palate.
The mouthfeel is very plush and powerful with soft, silky tannins. The Cabernet Franc element is more noticible in the finish, with its charteristic blueberry flavor and bold, long lasting tannins. It is inviting to drink upon relase, but will age gracefully for 10-15 years.
TASTING NOTES:
Aromas of sweet tobacco are followed by flavors of dark chocolate, cassis and sweet oak spices. This generous and full-bodied blend combines the beauty of Merlot with the aromatics of Cabernet Franc, and structure of Cabernet Sauvignon for a wine of persistent tannins balanced by mouthwatering freshness and a long finish

A ripe, dark-fruited and racy red with dried flowers, vanilla and moist earth undertones. Medium- to full-bodied, smooth and velvety with succulent fruit. Bright, fruity finish with moderate length.
