WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
A charming Barbaresco, with a splendid bright garnet hue.
The scent is enveloping, ethereal and rich in spices. As for the aroma, it begins with delicate notes of dried rose, dried cherry and red fruit jam, and then explodes with intense hints of cinnamon, cloves, black pepper and tobacco. Towards the end, a light hint of vanilla and cedar emerges.
The flavor is dry, robust and harmonious, in short, complex but delicate. The tannins are well blended and soft on the palate.
This wine pairs beautifully with dishes such as tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, game meat, mature cheeses such as Grana Padano, spicy cheeses, a stew or a Barbaresco fillet.
TASTING NOTES:
Aromas of wild cherries, medicinal herbs and fresh roses waft from the glass of this Nebbiolo. The nervy palate pops with tart red fruits and distinct chalkiness, finishing with fine-grained tannins. Drink now–2035.
