TASTING NOTES:
Showing an almost Bien Nacido level of salty, marine-like minerality, the 2012 Chardonnay Solomon Hills has beautiful stone fruits and white flower characteristics to go with a medium-bodied, fresh, pure and elegant feel on the palate. Barrel fermented and aged 16 months in 28% new French oak before being bottled unfiltered, this outstanding Chardonnay picks up additional richness with time in the glass, has lively acidity and should drink well for at least 4-5 years.
