WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
The 2019 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon embraces the classic Heitz Cellar characteristics with aromatic black and red fruit, sandalwood, cedar, and herbs de Provence, complemented by soft tannins from the signature aging process. Abundant rainfall in the winter, followed by a long, warm summer provided an even growing season with long hang time on the vine.
TASTING NOTES:
Medium-bodied with creamy and polished tannins that give a lovely texture and length.

A reserved, streamlined version, with fine-grained cedar and savory threads running through a core of gently mulled cherry, fresh damson plum and red currant coulis notes. There's pretty perfume on the finish. Best from 2025 through 2035. 13,718 cases made.
