WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Piede Franco is a 100% Nerello Mascalese wine made from ungrafted vines planted relatively recently in a superiour section of vineyard from a rigorous massale selection. It is full-bodied and rich, with a peppery note. A complex, ageworthy, almost Barolo-like wine.
