WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Deep, dark ruby red in colour, with a rich fruit concentrate of cherry, elderberries, wild berries and a pinch of pepper on the nose. Wonderful harmony of supple tannins and fine acidity on the palate, with subtle notes of maraschino cherry and spices. Fine toasted flavours on the long, very elegant finish. One of the most complex and underrated top wines in the region to date.
TASTING NOTES:
The purity of blackcurrant and lavender is greatly appreciated. The palate is focused and very polished, with substance and an air of excellence. Medium body with integrated tannins and a light tomato-leaf and currant aftertaste. Drink after 2027.
