WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
A deep hued “Super Tuscan” blend (60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc)that has an intense, spicy nose developing wonderful aromas of black berry fruits, leather, and violet. On the savory palate, velvety tannins support blackberry jam, tobacco and star anise. Elegant finish. A very compelling wine.
TASTING NOTES:
The aromas of raspberries and cherries with thyme and mint are entrancing and they follow through to a medium body with a lovely depth and purity of fruit and long, refined tannins. Very polished. Drink or hold.
