TASTING NOTES:
Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown in the hills of Asti in the province of Monferrato, Italy. Stainless steel only is used in this fermentation and refining. The nose of Willamette Pinot and the grip of Burgundy. A great companion for many dishes as its high acidity and ripe strawberry notes make it an easy wine for pairing with options like salmon or other fatty fish and roasted chicken.
Today recognized as a top growing area for the grape, the production of Pinot Nero in Monferrato is going through a resurgence and renaissance. Created as a testament to the area's great wines, Mombaruzzo 1894 is everything Pinot Noir should be-- drinkable, approachable, and friendly.
