A Bourbon Like No Other. We’re thrilled to announce the arrival of an incredibly unique single barrel release from DetroitCity Distillery — a bourbon finished like nothing else in the industry.
After aging in traditional white oak barrels, this remarkable spirit is moved to a second barrel that previously held honey from a Detroit bee conservatory, Bees In The D. There, it rests for six months, developing a flavor profile that’s both bold and beautifully nuanced.
On the nose, it opens with subtle hints of apricot, honeysuckle, and roasted almonds — an inviting aroma that sets the tone for what’s to come. On the palate, it surprises and delights with notes of crisp green apple and caramelized banana, layered over the rich warmth of classic bourbon. The honey finish adds a delicate sweetness — never overpowering, just perfectly balanced.
