WINEMAKER'S NOTE:
For Gran Reserva, the old vineyards established more than 100 years ago at a property they have in Vistalba, beside the Mendoza River. With a relatively early harvest in late March and a rather cool year, this wine is juicy and refreshing, with a lot of tart red fruits in a dense and powerful body, with firm tannins and long flavors. A big wine that deserves to be cellared for at least five years.
TASTING NOTES:
Lots of juicy, ripe blue and black fruit here with some rosemary stems, fresh walnuts, capers and flowers, too. It’s full-bodied with creamy tannins and a supple finish. Drink now or hold.
