WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
In this vintage of The Lion Cabernet Sauvignon, I find the nose filled with generous aromas of blue and black fruits – blackberry, blueberry and a hint of dark chocolate. To me, this wine is always refined and elegant, and in the 2014 vintage there is a density in both flavor and texture that draws me right to it. The palate displays a beautiful spectrum of rich, ripe, dark fruits supported by distinctive barrel spice flavors and mouth coating tannins. This Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the signature style of Mount Veeder fruit with depth and richness, a velvety texture and a lasting vibrancy.
