WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
This symbol of Piedmontese wine derives from one of the most historic and performing crus of Gattinara, almost entirely owned by the company, on skeletal soils rich in minerals. Ruby red with evident garnet hues to the eye, the nose is elegant in its fruity, floral and spicy notes, with hints of rose, violet, undergrowth, but above all china and slate to complete the characteristic mineral picture. In the mouth it is full and enveloping, balanced and persistent.
