WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
The Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from our favorite vineyards: Flat Rock, Dry Creek, and Linda Vista. The blending of these vineyards creates a wine that offers bright acid, robust dark fruit and firm, elegant tannins. A touch of Malbec was added to enhance the depth and structure of this wine, resulting in a wine that is fruity, delightfully balanced, and approachable. The color of a garnet gemstone with delicious aromas of raspberry jam, brown sugar, and red licorice. Flavors of roasted coconut, fresh blackberry, and plum are accompanied by a smooth structure with sturdy tannins and juicy acidity. Drink now through 2029.
TASTING NOTES:
A juicy, ripe and packed style, with a core of dark currant and boysenberry preserves flanked by singed vanilla and black licorice. Ends with toasty oomph, but with good underlying energy as well. Drink now through 2034.

Aromas of fresh mint, pine and blackcurrant. Full-bodied with velvety tannins. Iodine and bark on the palate, with a solid core of black fruit. Nicely concentrated. Best after 2025.

All estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Laird's 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is a reasonable value in the overpriced world of Napa Valley. Aged in a fair bit of new French oak, it offers up scents of cedar, dark chocolate, plum and black cherry. It's full-bodied and a bit more tannic than Jillian's Blend but still open-knit, approachable and easy to drink, with a long, velvety finish.
