WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Terravignata is characterized by its verticality, supported by an acid note and by
the freshness of a young wine: the grapes come from a vineyard exposed to the
west and are harvested to a degree of ripeness not high. Varietal freshness and
territorial flavor create a slender and inviting sip with a long saline finish.
TASTING NOTES:
The most vivid green sour melon note imaginable wafts up from the 2021 Verdicchio di Matelica Terravignata, along with a dusting of sweet spice and mint that makes it a total pleasure on the nose. Round yet juicy in feel, this takes the minerality up to the max, yet balances it with masses of ripe orchard fruits. Spicy and intense, the 2021 leaves a cheek-puckering tension that keeps the mouth watering for more.
