WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
The ‘Evenstad Reserve’ Chardonnay represents the art of blending select barrels from our estate vineyard sites in the Dundee Hills. This combination of Dijon clone vines, Jory soil, and the high elevation estates in the Dundee Hills produces fruit of unparalleled quality for this reserve wine.
TASTING NOTES:
Nicely chalky and textural, this mineral-laden, medium-bodied wine goes deep and long, offering bright green apples alongside white peaches, toasted almonds and touches of butter and vanilla.

The 2021 Chardonnay Evenstad Reserve was blended with Domaine Serene's single-vineyard Chardonnays and matured for 15 months in 22% new French oak. It has pure scents of golden apples, quince peel, chamomile and wet stone. The medium-bodied palate balances a satiny texture and concentrated flavors with a vibrant acidity, and it has a long, softly savory finish.

A fresh and breezy aromatic set of Bosc pears, white peaches and fresh-cut grass in no way prepares you for your first sip of the Evenstad Reserve. That’s when you get drilled by a laser beam of acidity and flavors of lemon zest, Golden Delicious apples, green melons and some olive oil with a bite.
