WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
This single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon offers an uncommon combination of structure, ripeness, freshness, and minerality. The wine showcases signature black fruit flavors and graphite notes. It presents a full-bodied profile while maintaining a light, mineral-driven character, creating an impression of weight without heaviness. This Cabernet Sauvignon has excellent aging potential and will continue to develop for many years. Recommended Pairings: Prime rib with rosemary smashed potatoes, lamb stew, roasted, stuffed mushrooms
TASTING NOTES:
Lean and light-bodied, but not short on flavor, the wine’s cool-climate vineyard in southern Napa Valley has volcanic soil and little nutrition, giving a poised, fresh and tangy expression of cranberries and tart cherries. It feels austere at this stage and needs time to improve. Best from 2027.
