WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Dark ruby in color, the 2021 Mountain Road Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon offers aromas of cassis and boysenberry with notes of mocha, violets and a hint of white pepper. Full-bodied, juicy purple fruits and mocha with an enveloping rich creamy finish on the palate.
Blend: 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc
TASTING NOTES:
This intensely layered wine is grown on a very mountainous site in the far western reaches of the region. Aromas of blackberry and cocoa dust lead into a solidly firm palate that's wrapped in polished tannins. Flavors of blackberry, cocoa, caramel and pepper will converge for many years. Drink now–2041.
