TASTING NOTES:
The 2022 Nerello Mascalese Nonna Concetta is dark and youthfully coiled, with a whiff of violets and lavender accentuating crushed blackberries. It opens with a lovely inner sweetness and silken textures as a wave of ripe red and blue fruits swirls throughout. Zesty acidity maintains fantastic freshness. A caking of fine tannins and minerals persists as hints of licorice and blood orange fade through the long and classically structured finale. Superb. The 2022 is geared up for a long and fruitful evolution.
