WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
Bernard Michaut Chablis 1er Cru Vau Ligneau 2024 is a elegant white from Chablis Premier Cru, Burgundy, France, produced by Bernard Michaut and centered on Chardonnay. The wine opens with an expressive combination of lemon, green apple, white flowers, chalk and saline mineral notes with a precise, lingering finish. On the palate, bright acidity gives the fruit definition and freshness, while the texture develops gradually through the mid-palate with a clean, balanced feel. Floral, herbal and mineral accents add detail around the primary fruit without overwhelming the wine's natural character. The structure is composed and refreshing, with enough depth to remain interesting as it warms slightly in the glass. A persistent finish carries citrus, orchard-fruit and mineral tones, leaving a precise and polished impression. This bottling offers a clear expression of Chablis Premier Cru and works especially well served chilled, allowing its aroma, texture and freshness to show clearly.
